EasyPhone
EasyPhone Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the EasyPhone iOS app published by New Road Software ("we", "us"). EasyPhone is a local-first digital-detox app. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no developer-operated server. We do not collect, store, share or sell your personal data.
Screen Time
EasyPhone uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, Device Activity and Managed Settings) to pause the apps, categories and websites you choose during focus sessions and schedules. Your selection is stored as opaque Apple tokens on your device; EasyPhone cannot see which apps they represent and never sends them anywhere. Usage reports are generated by Apple inside a privacy-protected extension and never leave your device.
Contacts
If you allow Contacts access, EasyPhone reads your contacts only so you can call or message people from the app. Contacts are never copied off your device.
Camera and Photos
Photos you take in EasyPhone are stored in the app's private storage on your device until you share or export them. If you save a photo, EasyPhone asks only for add-only access to your photo library.
Music and Notifications
Music access is used only to control playback on your device. Notifications are scheduled locally for timers and reminders.
Notes, Schedules and Progress
Notes, schedules, companion progress, streaks and game scores are stored locally on your device.
Purchases and Subscriptions
EasyPhone offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (EasyPhone Pro). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. EasyPhone receives only the subscription status from StoreKit; we never receive your name, Apple Account details or payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Use of EasyPhone is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
Children
EasyPhone does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting Your Data
Deleting EasyPhone from your device removes all of its data. You can revoke any permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
