This policy explains what information BookHub collects and how it is used.
Information We Collect
Account information (email, username, display name, profile photo), content you create (posts, comments, ratings, reading library), and basic device information for app functionality (push notification tokens, crash diagnostics).
How We Use Your Information
To provide core app functionality (your library, social feed, notifications), to moderate content and enforce our Terms of Use, and to respond to support requests.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Content you post publicly (posts, comments, ratings) is visible to other users as part of normal app functionality.
Your Rights
You can edit or delete your profile information at any time from within the app, and you can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

By creating an account or using BookHub, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Community Guidelines & Zero Tolerance Policy
BookHub has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to: harassment, hate speech, threats, sexually explicit content, spam, and any content that violates the rights of others.
Users who post objectionable content or engage in abusive behavior may have their content removed and their account permanently terminated, without prior notice.
2. Reporting & Blocking
BookHub provides tools for users to report objectionable content and block abusive users directly within the app. When content is reported, our team reviews it and takes action — including removal of content and, where appropriate, termination of the offending account — within 24 hours.
Blocking another user immediately removes their content from your feed and prevents further interaction between you and that user.
3. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the content you post (reviews, posts, comments) on BookHub, but you grant BookHub a license to display this content within the app. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must ensure it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to posting objectionable content or engaging in abusive behavior toward other users.
